What is Spellbinder?

Spellbinder is a collection manager for Magic: The Gathering and Sorcery: Contested Realm.

Organize your cards in binders and decks, lend cards to friends, and trade with other collectors.

Visibility Settings

When creating or editing a binder or deck, you can set its visibility by clicking the icon. Each click cycles to the next level:

  • private Private — Only you can see this binder. This is the default.
  • friends Friends — You and your friends can see this binder.
  • public Public — Everyone can see this binder, even without an account.


Latest Updates

  • Card Filters: Filter your binders and decks by color/element, card type, rarity, and foil status. Filters persist across navigation.
  • Card Details: When viewing a card, you can now see which of your binders and decks contain the same card, and which friends own it.
  • Deck Import/Export: You can now import and export cards for decks, just like binders.
  • Trading System:
    • Create trades directly from card detail pages.
    • Accept, reject, or reopen trades with a single click.
    • Open and accepted trade counts shown in the header.
    • Soft-delete for accepted trades with option to remove traded cards.
  • New: You can now rename your binders and decks!
  • Sorting: Alphabetical sorting for collections and decks.
  • Mobile: Optimized login, profile, and header for a better mobile experience.
  • Confirmation Alerts: Added flash messages when adding new cards to your collection.
  • Sorcery Support:
    • Improved specific detail views for Sorcery cards.
    • Added the ability to switch between different card versions.
    • Added exact matching and improved fuzzy search results.
  • Bugfixes:
    • Fixed card preview images being cut off by the footer.
